Rosemarie’s pursuit of dance training and education began over 30 years ago with tentative steps into her first ballet class. Since then, she has gone on to become a Registered Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) ballet instructor, a certified teaching member of jazz and tap from the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (A.D.A.P.T.), a certified teaching member in the jazz division of the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association (C.D.T.A.), and a graduate of the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies program (R.A.D.). She is able to effectively teach students at all levels of development and is qualified to prepare and enter candidates for presentation and examination sessions.
Rosemarie complements her dance training with a certification in Fusion Pilates. She is fully trained to teach mat and reformer classes at all levels including prenatal and postnatal students. She continues to educate herself in both teaching and dance training to ensure the information and practices she works with are current, safe, and beneficial to her students.
Rosemarie strives to create a friendly, inviting, and fun classroom environment. Her aim is to make students of any ability feel comfortably engaged, allowing them to be able to learn freely, grow as dancers, and gain confidence in the dance world.
