A highly regarded and respected artist and teacher, Dale brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our school. She trained at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School in the Professional Division before being accepted into The Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company. As a company dancer, she toured North America regularly with special tours to England, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt and Mexico. Dale danced as a soloist in many ballets, notably Rodeo, in which Agnes de Milles personally selected her for one of the roles. While performing with the RWB she danced in a number of television productions.
Dale is also involved at Western University. She is a lecturer in the dance program at the Don Wright Faculty of Music, teaches classes in the Adult Ballet Program, a role she has had since 1987, and is co-director of the “Studies in Motion” dance showcase, which presents annual productions with university dance students.
Being an Advanced Member as well as maintaining Registered Teacher status with the Royal Academy of Dance, she is a well-known guest teacher throughout Ontario. Dale has continued with her involvement in London South Collegiate Institute’s bi-annual performance productions, both serving on the audition panel as well as choreographing since its beginning in 2003. She is also a board member with the FLUX London Dance Festival.
